“This is a digital age. Technology is such a huge part of music, but it’s really refreshing to watch a true DJ still spin and scratch instead of relying solely on software to produce a show. There’s a definite art to the mix and XTC knows the value of performance, the delivery of art and how to build the persona of a world-class DJ,” confirms Fassio.
Fassio is dead serious. For those that don’t think there’s an art to keeping the crowd moving it’s as simple as witnessing it first-hand. “All you have to do is watch the difference in the crowd’s reaction to a live, skilled DJ versus an automated playlist or an amateur host. XTC knows how to read energy and how to be a rock-star in that booth.”
Included in his multi-faceted arsenal, XTC is an accomplished designer, singer, composer and producer. His addition to the Itchy Metal catalog ushers yet another new, creative direction for the emerging company. “I don’t think we’ll go traditional with this new relationship. There’s just too much more we can do and we’re ready to have fun with this,” concludes Fassio.
