Triple Crown Tattoo

About Triple Crown Tattoo:

Owning a business is something I’ve always wanted to do since I was a teen. So it only made sense that I would own a tattoo studio since quite a few of my good friends are tattoo artist or piercers.

My family and I, along with everyone involved with the studio has invested alot of ourselves into this studio, So to me this shop is a reflection of hard work, dedication and perseverance. Also I want to say that although our goal is to exceed peoples expectations in what they are looking for in a tattoo studio as far as professional service.
I’m proud to know that people will also become quickly aware of the family type relationship the employees have amongst each other giving a very family oriented atmosphere. One thing that will also stand out is that we are in this industry because of our love for it, which will show in the service and product people will receive.

I have to say that I don’t like calling people customers because it feels so cut and dry to me, and I’d like to believe that so much more goes on in the studio then just buying and selling something. I am personally thankful for everyone that I come in contact with on a daily basis because I feel that I am a product of my environment and I’m constantly being molded as a person.

I want to say that I give a huge thanks to my sister most commonly known as Melissa Kono. My sister was diagnosed with chondrosarcoma (bone cancer) in 2004. She was told that she had 2 years to live and would never make it past 5 years. Not only did she live for 6 years after being diagnosed but she did it while keeping a great outlook on life. At 30 years old She passed away February 18th 2010, and will be missed with all my heart.

She has had by far one of the biggest impacts in my life. She really taught me alot about life as well as about myself. She taught me to be real with myself, because if I wasn’t she was always guaranteed to make sure and “keep it 100%” with me!! She also taught me not to take anything for granted, and to be a fighter and when things are hard to never let life get the best of me.

So in honor of my sister I am dedicating this shop.
